About Me!! My life on one page...

I started out as Constance Renee Bell. Born in Dayton ,Ohio and was relocated to central Illinois and have been here since I was just a toddler. I'm in my 40's and have been painting since I was in high school. But I have only been painting professionally since about 2000. I ran my own auto upholstery shop for years. Then I was a reporter for a weekly paper for a couple of years. 
   Besides painting and creating art, my favorite thing to do currently is sing. I am taking voice lessons from the most talented singer around, Michelle Lynn Grubb. She has a beautiful voice and is helping me do something that has always secretly been a dream for me. My boyfriend, Winston Dunbar, is helping me learn piano and guitar. He is a very talented musician/songwriter/teacher.

   My other hobbies, I am told, are rearranging the furniture and trying new ways of displaying my collections and tools of the trade. I love the fresh energy that comes from moving things around and shaking 'em up a little.
I love what I do and am continually thinking of new paintings, projects and creations.
I have three beautiful children, a son aged 20, and two daughters ages 15 and almost 8....that detail is very important to her.

As of May 26, 2009 I am recovering from a hip replacement. This is my 3rd one. So things have slowed down for me a little bit. My mom and boyfriend are very helpful to me .I will be back in the studio full time probably sometime in July.
